From an early age, I had a fascination for Australia and New Zealand and so, as soon as the opportunity presented itself, I travelled to Australia. Eventually, I actually ended up living there for a number of years. I stayed with a great Australian family in the beautiful, Glasshouse Mountains in South Queensland.

Whilst there, I took every opportunity to travel through Australia and was able to really get to know this amazing country. From beautiful coasts and tropical islands to impressive mountain areas and the real Outback. Nature has not only made a deep impression on me, but also the locals with their wonderful “no worries” mentality.
Eventually, I bumped into a Kiwi (New Zealander) with whom I am now married. Because of him and through my travels with TravelEssence, I also got to know beautiful New Zealand very well, I really feel this country will one day be my forever home.
