Cycle the vineyards of Hawke’s Bay on tandem bicycles. The tour starts in the heart of the wine region at Ash Ridge Wines. You will be provided with everything you need - a tandem bicycle, a helmet, a route map and a briefing of the wineries you can visit.
Spend the day vineyard-hopping - visiting Sileni Estate, Alpha Domus, Abbey Cellars, Trinity Hill and Te Awa wineries. The trail covers around 20 kilometres of the Hawkes Bay Cycle Trails, taking between four to six hours, depending on how long you stop at each winery.
Cruise at a leisurely pace and participate in wine and food tasting as you wish. It is possible to collect your bikes from 10:00 am. Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes for cycling and a rain jacket, just in case!
