I have been home for almost a week from my trip to New Zealand. I spent three weeks touring the North Island, a week in the South Island (including visiting family) and I had a two-day stopover in Singapore.
The journey that Marie-Cecile created was the ideal trip for me, as a solo traveller. Almost all accommodations were B&B's, in the most beautiful locations, run by very hospitable and nice hosts who serve you the most fantastic breakfasts. They were always willing to advise me about activities to do or restaurants to visit.
In most B&B's I stayed two to three nights which allowed me the time to explore the area well. The distances between the B&B's were not too far, which meant on the way I had plenty of time to see and do things, stop for lunch or a drink, without arriving too late at the next B&B.
The North Island is really beautiful and is also completely different than the South Island I visited 3 years ago. The activities organised such as visiting Kapiti Island and Cape Kidnappers were highlights of my trip!
I had a great holiday, saw a lot, did a lot and met a lot of amazing people. This way of travelling is certainly the only way to travel. My trip was organised perfectly and I will definitely book the next trip to New Zealand with you!
