3. Australia is home to the world’s longest earthworm

The world's longest earthworm can be found in Gippsland, Victoria. The giant Gippsland earthworm can stretch out up to four metres!

4. The world’s longest piece of straight railway is found in Australia

The world's longest piece of straight railway line stretches 478 kilometres across the Nullarbor Plain in South Australia.

5. The Great Barrier Reef has its own post box!

The Great Barrier Reef is the largest living ecosystem in the world. It can even be seen from space!
