A guided walk through the Bay of Fires

Immerse yourself in the oldest culture in the world on an Indigenous walk. Over four days and three nights, you will discover the natural beauty of Tasmania. You will go together with a local Indigenous guide from the Palawa tribe. You will walk through Larapuna (Eddystone Point) and Wukalina (Mount William region).

Every day, you will travel between 5 and 17 kilometres. Your journey begins at Launceston, and then you will make your way to the Aboriginal Elders Centre. Here, you will be welcomed by the Palawa people. The walk starts at Stumpy's Bay in Mount William National Park. Your guide will take you to the alluring Bay of Fires.

The day ends at Krakani Lumi, a camp at Cobler Rocks. After breakfast on day two, you will walk through Mount William National Park. If you're lucky, you may encounter wallabies, kangaroos and Tasmanian devils. Along the way, you will have a picnic lunch.

On the third day, you will walk along the beach of the Bay of Fires. At Marsupial Lawns, you will stop for lunch. In the afternoon, you will arrive at the lighthouse of Eddystone Point, from where you have a panoramic view of the bay. The last day is dedicated to the Aboriginal culture of Tasmania and exploring the Larapuna area.
